I love writing fanfiction, but my word count is usually only 600-900 words per oneshot / chapter. the number of words in a fic, the time to read or not.

There are tons of FICS as touching outside with the number of words in less than a thousand words, a story, but not even on. Generally, a chapter or story should be longer than with a real plot, or it could plot PWP (Plot What? Or Porn Without Plot ").
I know I'm the only one who thinks so, setting, plot, character development are generally intruging if the author a lot of time (eg words) is the development of their history.
It is true that some of these stories are really excellent, but many of them are garbage loocking Bother Me by everyone.
My advice to you is to try to bridge some of the stories describe movements, smells, feelings, metaphors, etc. (butDo not waste too much time seems to be the characters.
