What school? There are hundreds of nursing schools in the United States, with all different needs. In most cases does not require a license from the ANC, but they have no work required.
EDIT: Why does everyone say they are still needed? More and more programs are needed. Certainly not in any way the responsibility of a nurse, but also gives an insight into the nurses have to endure dirty things sometimes. I looked at 100 schools of nursing, and I would say that 9 out of 10 as required. It's just another way to remove the student.
At university level, not (BSN). There is nothing written in the School of Nursing Program, which states that students must obtain certification from the ANC. I also read the requirements for the school nursing program in my community college, and there is nothing hidden away.
